Over 250,000 children in Haiti are unable to attend school!

Marilyn’s Journey of Service

Despite volunteering on mission trips for many years, I realized our efforts were amazing, but they were not creating lasting change. As a child of two educators, I have a profound belief that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. It is a gift that cannot be taken away, with the power to transform lives forever. So, in 2017, I founded Right To Learn Global Literacy Project, a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to empowering families through education in South Florida, and the Caribbean.

With the steadfast support of volunteers and donors, we’ve brought hope and joy to hundreds of families. Yet, the need remains vast, with thousands of children requiring assistance for necessities like food, healthcare, and education. Unfortunately, the pandemic has intensified the need for support particularly in marginalized communities. Our journey is ongoing, and we invite compassionate individuals to join us in making a positive impact in our local communities, enabling needy children to reach their fullest potential through education.

Our Mission

To break the cycle of childhood poverty in Haitian communities in South Florida, Haiti, and Dominican Republic. We do so by providing access to healthcare, nutrition, and holistic educational programs that promote leadership, spiritual and emotional growth, so our children have an opportunity to succeed and thrive in their lives.

Our Vision

To eradicate generational poverty among Haitians families in the US and the Caribbean.

Our Core Values

Our commitment to quality education equips children with essential knowledge and skills, while our focus on health and nutrition ensures they are well-prepared to learn. We create safe, inclusive environments where every child can thrive. Through these values, we empower children to break the cycle of poverty and Full Widthbuild a brighter, faith-filled future.

Empowering Communities Through Service

I am a mindset empowerment coach driven by a mission that extends far beyond professional achievements. As a breast cancer survivor, I channel my resilience into leading initiatives that provide education, nutrition, and healthcare to Haitian children, transforming communities and inspiring others to join the cause.

Join me in my mission to create meaningful change and empower communities through education, healthcare, and community empowerment.
